This Privacy Policy explains how Brittor Fabara (“we”, “us”), based at Gayatri Vihar, 28 Cantonment Road, Cuttack, Odisha 753001, India, handles personal information collected through brittorfabara.com (the “Site”). We aim to follow India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.

1. What we collect

• Private list sign-up: your name, email address and (optionally) which fragrances interest you.
• Emails you send us: your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message.
• Basic technical data: like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically log your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, for security and reliability.

We do not currently take payments or orders through the Site and we do not knowingly collect payment card details. We do not run advertising trackers.

2. Why we use it

• To add you to our private list and tell you when Batch 01 and future releases open.
• To reply to your questions.
• To keep the Site secure and working properly.

We process your information based on your consent, which you give by submitting the sign-up form. You can withdraw it at any time.

3. Who handles your data

We do not sell your personal information. We use trusted service providers to run the Site and our communications:

• Mailchimp (Intuit Mailchimp) stores our private list and sends our emails. Mailchimp may process data on servers outside India.
• Vercel hosts the Site and provides privacy-friendly Web Analytics, which count page visits, referring sites, device type and country without cookies and without identifying individual visitors.
• Google Fonts serves the typefaces used on the Site, which means your browser contacts Google when a page loads.
• Email providers that deliver and route messages sent to info@brittorfabara.com.

These providers process data on our behalf and under their own privacy terms. We may also disclose information where required by law.

4. How long we keep it

We keep your sign-up details until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Emails you send us are kept for as long as needed to respond and for reasonable record-keeping.

5. Your choices and rights

You may, at any time: unsubscribe using the link in any of our emails; ask to see the information we hold about you; ask us to correct or delete it; or withdraw your consent. Write to info@brittorfabara.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied, you may also approach the Data Protection Board of India once it is operational for complaints.

6. Cookies

We do not set cookies for tracking or advertising. Third-party services we use (such as Mailchimp or video and font providers) may set their own technical cookies or identifiers.

7. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children

The Site is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us their information, please contact us and we will remove it.

9. Changes

We may update this policy as our business grows (for example, when we begin taking orders). The latest version will always be on this page with its date.
